2013 Calendar || BUY NOW

Hello everyone and thank you for checking out my blog and experiencing the changes God has made through the view of my eyes and mind. The year will soon be over and soon the hunt for your new calendar will be on. I am proud to announce that my 2013 calendars are ready and I am in the process of getting bulk orders from people and other organizations.

I am feeling very led to build a small, weather non-profit or not, business out of these calendars. For now I can use them to help build funds for missions. Again I have never been great at accepting gifts without something in return, so the idea of making a calendar of photos I have taken on trips makes lots of sense in my mind.

I decided on the name Transgressing Tides Calendars for the business name of this effort and plan to use this name on following years to come. The name comes from the idea that we need a change in this world, and that there IS a change going on. Transgressing (another word for changing) fit well poetically with tides and from there Gods gift of creativity gave me the insight to build the logo. I believe this calendar and future business will be a way to help change the world, the views, and the concerns of everyone's hearts. There is so much pain and suffering, depression, anxiety, starvation, hatred, disease, etc. going on in the world and most don't know about it. The small crew of missionary groups who work in these area do and Photos are a great way to share that these worlds are not much different then our own. There are young children, there are beautiful views, pets, homes, families, laughter, joy.

The only way to bring around a change is to start it.

Last year I was able to sell 100 calendars. For a first time at this I think that is pretty dang good! This year, without even having the proof looked over I have tripled that and pray to sell more. Stroudwater Christian Church is the first to endeavor into using these calendars as a fundraiser.

Stroudwater is doing a teen trip to Guatemala in 2013 (www.2-15-13.com) and has purchased a bulk order to share with the kids going to help them raise funds for there part of the trip. This is what I want these calendars to do! Bring an opportunity to those who have the desire to go, and to bring the precious moments to those who have helped every month with beautifully captured images and emotion.
